THE TONE RING DIFFERENCE

The tone ring is critical to ABS performance. Fleet Ultra is precisely designed and milled after casting, with a special anti-corrosion coating that outlasts the competition.

CompetitorCast-In Tone Ring

Fleet Ultra™Precision-Milled Tone Ring

✕Cast-in during rotor casting — porous structure traps moisture and contaminants

Manufacturing
Process

✓Precision-milled after casting — dense, solid surface for maximum strength and accuracy

✕Uneven tooth profile — inconsistent ABS signal and performance

ABS Signal
Accuracy

✓Exact tooth geometry — consistent, reliable ABS signal every time

✕No corrosion protection — rust forms quickly on exposed tone ring surface

Corrosion
Resistance

✓Special anti-corrosion coating — protects against rust, the #1 cause of tone ring failure

✕Prone to cracking and flaking — rust expansion leads to damage and tone ring breakage

Service
Life

✓Engineered to last — outlasts leading competitors by up to 30%
